- Multiplication and addition strategies are quite different. One is focused on professionals doing the ministry, the other on ordinary people being equipped to do the work of the Kingdom.
- Making disciples is different from making converts. One gets people “saved” while another trains them to follow Jesus and His way of life.
- Finding a Person of Peace is key to seeing multiplication of disciples. This was Jesus’ strategy found in Luke 10.
- Equip everyone and give them the responsibility to pass on to others what they learn. Then watch and observe who is faithful and obedient. Invest more in those people
- Cast vision for Kingdom destiny as you call people to faith in Christ.
- Determine to keep things very simple to understand and pass on to others (reproducible). Be ruthless in cutting out anything that can not immediately be done by new believers or those without extensive training or finances.
