Summary:
On today’s episode Cynthia talks with Neil Cole about APEST (Apostle, Pastor, Evangelist, Shepherd, Teacher) and how these five gifts work together in movements. Falling into this in their team, kind of by accident, they realized the power of seeing each of these function as we plant churches and multiply disciples.

Key Points from this episode:
- Life transformation groups that are gender specific and based on reading scripture together led to spontaneous multiplication.
- Groups that don’t require a leader are able to multiply more organically.
- Multiplication always starts slow and small.
- We tend to choose people to join our team who are similar to us in personality and gifting.
- Church offices are not a New Testament concept and not found in the Greek.
- The best leaders are not putting things in people they are training, but are calling forth what Jesus has put inside of them already.
- Since Jesus is in us, all five of these gifts are within us. We will however have one that is more primary and perhaps a secondary and tertiary gift as well.
- Gifts of the Spirit are not as important as the fruit of the Spirit.
- Leadership groups that focus on the mission, friendship, synergy and have fun together are those that see greater breakthroughs.
- Be aware of giftings but allow this to emerge organically.
- Counterfeit Apostles and Counterfeit Prophets are large and in charge, all about themselves. True apostles and prophets develop others and give power away.
- Together apostles and prophets are able to slow the enemy and speed up the work of God.
